Telephony Device
Palmchip offers a set of boards for the analog and digital telephony market. These boards in combination with the Asterisk open source software allows the customer to build high end PBX/IP-PBX systems.
Palmchip TDM Card
The TDM card is a PCI compliant card that in combination with the FXS and FXO daughter cards allows the connection of regular telephone lines through a PC. Any combination of FXS/FXO, up to a maximum of 4 daughter cards, can be inserted into the TDM card to come up with a line-in, line-out combination that is suitable for a customer.
Palmchip FXS Card
The FXS daughter card from Palmchip allows the TDM card to terminate the analog telephones. The FXS card supports all the call features of a standard analog telephone.
Palmchip FXO Card
The FXO daughter card from Palmchip allows the TDM card to terminate the analog telephone lines. The FXO card supports all the call features of a standard analog telephone line.
Palmchip E1 Card
The E1/T1 card from Palmchip is a PCI compliant card that can be used for digital telephony applications. The card can support both voice and data. The Asterisk open source PBX software manages the channel allocation and routing information.
