Palmchip offers three configurable SoC platform architectures AcurX™, AcurX-Lite™ and AcurX-8051™. These platforms are based on the CoreFrameTM architecture developed by Palmchip.
AcurX-8051™
The AcurX-8051™ SoC platform consists of the 8051 processor core and all the peripheral functions required for a basic SoC with options to select from a suite of library components that has been ported to this platform.
AcurX-Lite™
The AcurX-Lite™ SoC platform consists of all the peripheral functions required for a basic SoC with options to select from a suite of library components that has been ported to this platform. This platform currently supports MIPS, ARC, ARM, and Tensilica embedded processor cores. The CoreFrame™ architecture is inherently processor independent, allowing other processors to be easily integrated.
AcurX™
The AcurX™ SoC platform consists of all the peripheral functions supported by AcurX-Lite™ plus a high-bandwidth memory controller which supports Flash, SRAM, SDRAM or DDR depending on the user’s requirements. The AcurX™ platform also supports a suite of library components that have been ported to this platform.
