The AcurX51(TM) microcontroller SoC platform is targeting smart grid
and Home Area Networks (HAN).
The AcurX51 is built with a custom Palm8051 processor core and silicon proven peripherals
targeting HAN appliances
Palmchip is a pioneer in the platform based development of System on Chip (SoC)
designs and the IP licensing business. We set the industry standard with our patented
AcurX® platform technology which is at the heart of millions of SoC
designs spanning from the high end communication systems, to consumer, industrial
and automotive products, to low power hand held design, to smart cards. Our multitude
of platforms address the various design points in the SoC market from low end microcontrollers
to multicore CPU designs, where each platform has been optimized for its target
market.
PALM80251
The 80251 core executes the instruction in a single clock cycle, and is an instruction
set compatible implementation of the MCS-251 family. It’s about 3.19 times faster
on average then the MCS-251 family. The Dhrystone v2.1 benchmark score is 0.258
DMIPS/MHz.
